Stars - Like pins on the sky

Stars, like pins in the sky are scratching our eyes, there’s trouble on earth, there’s trouble in the sky, and folks, we’ve really screwed something up. We have not taken care of the treasures entrusted to us, the earth, nature, animals, plants, and we have not taken care of each other. We are in the penultimate minute, and if we don’t wake up, the sky will fall and the earth will be deserted, and we will be left to wonder why no one warned us in time! But we still have a minute, now, and we can wake up to save ourselves and learn again to take good care of all our values, all our treasures, our land, our loved ones, our heritage and our humanity!

The summer show “Stars, Like Pins in the Sky” by Capital Circus of Budapest is about our planet and the stars that care for it, the Sun and the Moon that care for us, the whole universe that looks after us humans as caring parents!

And at the same time, the circus ventures into new territory: the show is transformed into a dazzling and lavish super-concert, with choreographed artistes and dancers giving new interpretations and dimensions to the best Hungarian and world hits! The songs of Rúzsa Magdi and Queen, Anna and the Barbies and David Bowie, Tamás Cseh and Michael Jackson have perhaps never been performed together in one concert – complete with artists, dancers, live orchestra, video clips, video and light technology!

And what do they have in common? What do we have in common? They have all felt what we feel: it’s up to us to protect each other and our beloved planet. And that we humans have a responsibility when we see the tear slowly rolling down the face of our Earth: “Watch out for the bird, if it flies over your shoulder…”
